KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23 — Two foreign nationals have become the first individuals in Malaysia to be charged in court for littering under the newly enforced anti-littering law, according to a report by The Star.
KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 — After months of playful denials, subtle hints on social media, and a string of clues that kept fans guessing, it now seems that Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and actress-singer Bella Astillah have taken a major step forward in their relationship.
Syed Saddiq recently shared a video on his social media, appearing to show the couple at Mount Kinabalu, both dressed in purple. The post was captioned, “I asked, she said yes,” along with the hashtag #BellaSyedYes — a playful blend of their names.
He also confirmed that an official engagement reception is set to take place today.
Speculation peaked on March 27 when his brother, influencer Syed Abdullah Syed Abdul Rahman (also known as Space Dollah), appeared to let the news slip during a live stream.
In an emotional moment, he was heard telling Bella: “Saya hargai awak. Saya sayang awak. Selamat datang ke… ke. Baru nak cakap selamat datang ke keluarga, eh.” (I appreciate you. I love you. Welcome to… to. I was about to say welcome to the family.)
When Bella sent a gift during the session, he added that he had been keeping the news under wraps, leaving it to the couple to make their own announcement. The clip quickly went viral, with fans celebrating what many saw as long-awaited confirmation that the beloved “BASS” duo were officially moving towards marriage.
Rumours of a romance first surfaced in 2024 when the pair were named brand ambassadors for a clothing line. What began as a professional partnership soon evolved into a close bond that captured public attention.
Even Anwar Ibrahim was once heard jokingly asking Bella if he would be invited to the wedding — to which she replied, “Insya-Allah.”
For now, both Syed Saddiq and Bella remain characteristically reserved. But as he shared earlier this year, “Insya-Allah, this year will be a very meaningful and special year.”
It appears that promise is now unfolding.
