LEVERKUSEN, March 12 — Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has urged his team to stay grounded after their 5-0 aggregate win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement.

Kane scored and assisted Alphonso Davies’ goal in Bayern’s 2-0 second-leg victory, securing a quarter-final spot. “We want to grow in the competition. We’ve had some tough results, but we’ve learned from them,” Kane told Amazon Prime.

Bayern will face Inter Milan in the last eight, with Kane making history as the first English player to score 10 goals in a single European Cup or Champions League season.

“The San Siro is a tough place, but we can cause any team problems,” Kane added. “We’ll prepare well and look for ways to hurt them. It’s a big opportunity to reach the semi-finals, and we’ll be ready.” — AFP
