Communications Minister Meutya Hafid stated on Monday that the government intends to introduce a regulation setting an age limit for social media use, following discussions with President Prabowo Subianto. This move aims to safeguard children online and aligns with global efforts like Australia’s recent ban on social media access for those under 16.
