KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 — Public relations agency ShekhinahPR, in collaboration with football marketing and management consultancy ProEvents, has donated football gear used by Manchester United during their recent match against the Asean All-Stars at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Lemoi.

In a statement, ShekhinahPR announced that it also gifted 15 pairs of brand-new football boots to pupils at the school, in a move aimed at supporting football development among the Orang Asli community.

SK Lemoi, located in Cameron Highlands, Pahang, is a rural school serving Orang Asli children and is home to a football team affectionately known as "The Botaks."

ShekhinahPR chief executive officer Christopher Raj said the initiative is part of the agency’s ongoing mission to promote sports among children in remote areas.

“We believe sport can be a powerful tool for creating life-changing opportunities. Through this contribution, we hope to inspire and encourage Orang Asli children to stay active and pursue their love for football,” he said.

He added that witnessing the children’s excitement as they received the Manchester United match-used gear and football boots was a deeply rewarding experience.

Christopher also reaffirmed ShekhinahPR’s long-term commitment to grassroots sports development, particularly in underserved communities.

The agency has been consistently supporting SK Lemoi with sports equipment and team jerseys, with its most recent contribution made in March. — Bernama
