SEREMBAN, March 4 — Three men are suspected to be behind an armed robbery at a supermarket in Bandar Baru Nilai yesterday.

Nilai police chief Supt Abdul Malik Hasim said two of the suspects entered the premises while the third waited in a getaway car.

“The robbery occurred around 8.30 pm, and one suspect was believed to be armed with a firearm. No casualties were reported, and the extent of the losses is still being assessed,” he said in a statement today.

Authorities were alerted by a woman’s emergency call, and police are now seeking public assistance. Those with information can contact Nilai police at 06-7904222.

Videos of the robbery, showing two masked men looting a gold shop inside the supermarket, have since gone viral on social media. — Bernama
