Midnight blaze destroys four houses and a Toyota Hilux in Kota Bharu.

KOTA BHARU, April 4 — A fire last night at Kampung Chabang Tiga, Kedai Buloh, destroyed four wooden houses, a motorcycle, and a Toyota Hilux.

According to the Kelantan Fire and Rescue Department’s Operations Control Centre, an emergency call was received at 9.55 pm, and fire crews reached the scene 15 minutes later.

“A total of 34 personnel, including members of the Volunteer Fire Brigade (PBS), were deployed from the Kota Bharu, Kota Darul Naim, Wakaf Bharu, and Pengkalan Chepa fire and rescue stations. The fire was brought under control at 11.03 pm,” the statement said.

Kota Bharu Fire and Rescue Station chief Zuzuki Safei told Bernama that there were no casualties or loss of life in the incident. — Bernama
