WASHINGTON, July 1 — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit the White House next week for talks with President Donald Trump, as the U.S. intensifies efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza, a U.S. official confirmed on Monday.
KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 — Police have identified a key witness in the ongoing investigation into a death threat case involving a company director who also serves as a Bersatu Youth (Armada) exco member.
Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said investigations revealed that the victim did not know the suspect who allegedly issued the death threat.
So far, two witnesses have had their statements recorded to assist in the probe.
“We have identified a key witness who will be called in to have their statement recorded. We believe this individual could provide vital information that may help identify those involved and shed light on the motive behind the threats made against the complainant,” he said in a statement yesterday.
He added that no arrests have been made in connection with the case so far.
Police are actively working to track down the suspect and are exploring all possible leads, while also ensuring the safety of the complainant.
The case is being investigated under Section 507 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation via anonymous communication.

Earlier, media reports stated that Armada exco member Na’im Brundage claimed he had received death threats, including threats of being splashed with acid by unknown individuals.
