BEIJING, July 21 — After a period of silence following some concerning Instagram posts, national badminton star Lee Zii Jia has resurfaced — this time in China.

He was recently featured on Chinese state media outlet CGTN’s social media, seen alongside other international badminton players.

Lee was also spotted at the Victor Brand Conference in Nanjing and even served as a service judge during a mixed doubles match, according to CGTN.

The 27th-ranked men’s singles player has been inactive on Instagram since July 3 and recently withdrew from the Japan Open.

He previously sustained an ankle injury in December last year and has maintained a relatively low profile ever since.
