KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 — Public relations agency ShekhinahPR, in collaboration with football marketing and management consultancy ProEvents, has donated football gear used by Manchester United during their recent match against the Asean All-Stars at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Lemoi.
BANGI, Feb 23 — The federal government will engage in discussions with the Sarawak state government to define the scope of cooperation between Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) and Petroleum Sarawak Bhd (Petros), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced.
The discussions will explore potential collaborations on new projects across various sectors. “The agreement between myself, representing the Malaysian government, and Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg acknowledges all legal matters,” Anwar said at the MADANI Government 2025 Ministerial Retreat.
He added that he and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadilah Yusof would reach out to the Sarawak government for a meeting to hear their proposals and work toward an optimal solution.
Anwar also highlighted Sarawak’s aspirations to participate in the oil and gas industry, as outlined in the Gas Distribution Ordinance 2016 (Amendment), which takes effect on March 1, 2025. Under this ordinance, Petros will serve as an aggregator in Sarawak while maintaining prior approvals granted to Petronas and its subsidiaries.
Sarawak Premier Abang Johari welcomed the collaboration, emphasizing that Petros’ involvement aligns with the state’s goal of integrating into the broader economic ecosystem. “We are not stingy. What we have, we share. Petronas and Petros must cooperate,” he stated. — Bernama
