KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 — Public relations agency ShekhinahPR, in collaboration with football marketing and management consultancy ProEvents, has donated football gear used by Manchester United during their recent match against the Asean All-Stars at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Lemoi.
BANGI, Feb 23 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has reaffirmed that opposition MPs are not required to support him to receive government allocations.
“We have never imposed any such conditions,” he said during a press conference at the Madani Government Retreat 2025.
Anwar encouraged opposition MPs to engage in discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof regarding the allocations. He noted that such negotiations were not new, citing his own discussions with then-Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob when Pakatan Harapan was in the opposition.
“This matter should not be sensationalized. Discussions have always been part of the process, so let’s talk first,” he added.
When asked if he would personally meet opposition representatives, Anwar said it was unnecessary, as Fadillah had been given the mandate to find a consensus.
His statement follows Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul’s call for the opposition to negotiate with the government on constituency allocations, as the matter falls under the prime minister’s discretion. — Bernama
