GENEVA, June 13 — Switzerland has offered to host the potential signing of a peace agreement between the United States and Iran, the Swiss foreign ministry told AFP on Friday.
KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 — The MADANI Government remains committed to strengthening the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) as a credible and respected institution in the fight against corruption, with no room for compromise, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said.
He stressed that enhancing governance, upholding integrity and advancing institutional reforms are central to the nation’s efforts to build a more transparent, equitable and competitive Malaysia.
Anwar made the remarks following a courtesy visit by MACC Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Abdul Halim Aman in Putrajaya yesterday.
“I emphasised that integrity is not merely a requirement within the public sector, but a vital pillar for maintaining public trust, attracting high-quality investments and securing a sustainable future for the country.
“The MADANI Government will continue to empower the MACC as a credible and respected institution in the fight against corruption without compromise, ensuring that the nation’s prosperity can be shared by both current and future generations,” he said in a Facebook post. — Bernama
