NEW YORK, May 23 — The Trump administration yesterday revoked Harvard University’s authorization to enroll foreign students—who make up over a quarter of its student body—in a sharp escalation of the president’s conflict with the prestigious institution.
KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will remain as president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) after securing the position unopposed in the party’s 2025 elections, which closed for nominations at 11.59pm last night.
Sources confirmed that the deputy president’s post will see a straight contest between Anwar’s daughter Nurul Izzah Anwar and incumbent Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli.
Meanwhile, 12 candidates have been nominated for the party's vice president positions for the 2025-2028 term:

Senator Abun Sui Anyit (PKR Hulu Rajang division chief)

Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, political secretary to the Finance Minister, is the sole candidate for the Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) chief post, while the Wanita chief position will be contested between Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek and Ampang MP Rodziah Ismail.
Online nominations took place over two days starting Thursday. The objection period will run on May 11-12, followed by appeal hearings (May 13-14), with the final candidate list confirmed on May 15. Campaigning will be held from May 15 to 22, and voting takes place on May 23.
The PKR National Congress, including the AMK and Wanita Congress, will convene from May 21 to 24 in Johor Baru. — Bernama
