LONDON, Feb 28 — Mikel Arteta believes Viktor Gyokeres can play a key role in Arsenal F.C.’s pursuit of multiple trophies after the striker’s recent surge in form.

Gyokeres struck twice in last weekend’s 4-1 win over Tottenham and has now netted eight goals in all competitions in 2026, taking his league tally to 10 — already more than any Arsenal player managed in the top flight last season.

With Arsenal leading the Premier League and still competing in the UEFA Champions League, League Cup and FA Cup, Arteta said the 27-year-old will only improve as he adapts further to English football.
