KUCHING, Oct 29 — The body of a woman was discovered inside a car at a mall parking lot along Jalan Song today.

KUCHING, Oct 29 — The body of a woman was discovered inside a car at a mall parking lot along Jalan Song today.

According to sources, the discovery was made after members of the public noticed a foul odour coming from a parked Nissan Grand Livina.

Police have yet to release an official statement at press time. The area has been cordoned off, and forensic officers were seen collecting evidence at the scene.

Sources said the deceased is believed to be the same woman who was reported missing last Saturday.

Earlier today, Kuching police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu issued a statement appealing for information on 24-year-old Marianna Liew Ai Jia, who was last seen leaving her home on October 25 in a Nissan Grand Livina. — The Borneo Post
