KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 — A man in his 20s detained over the deaths of his mother and adopted sister in a December 10 house fire in Taman Rathna is expected to be charged soon.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 — A man in his 20s detained over the deaths of his mother and adopted sister in a December 10 house fire in Taman Rathna is expected to be charged soon.

Penang police chief Datuk Azizee Ismail said investigation papers have been completed and sent to the State Public Prosecutor’s Office. The case is being probed under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

The fire killed a woman in her 50s and her five-year-old adopted daughter, while the suspect — her son — was injured during the incident.
