SYDNEY, Oct 29 — Around 140 Queensland students across nine schools accidentally studied Augustus instead of Julius Caesar due to a curriculum error, officials confirmed.

The mistake was only discovered during final exams, prompting Education Minister John-Paul Langbroek to apologise and promise an investigation.

The syllabus switched from Augustus to Julius Caesar in 2025, but some schools failed to update their lessons. Authorities are now working to ensure students’ grades are not affected. — AFP
