BANGKOK, April 24 — Thailand’s Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear a petition accusing 44 current and former opposition lawmakers of ethics violations over their 2021 move to amend a law protecting the monarchy from criticism, according to Thai media reports.
SEPANG — A 17-year-old university student died yesterday after falling from a condominium unit in Cyberjaya.
Sepang district police chief ACP Norhizam Bahaman said police received a MERS 999 call at 3.18pm reporting an unconscious male on the eighth floor of the building, The Star reported.
Officers who arrived at the scene found the teenager lying in a pool of blood. Medical personnel later confirmed his death.
Police believe the victim had fallen from an upper floor of the condominium where he resided. Initial investigations by the Sepang Criminal Investigation Department found no indication of foul play.
The case has been classified as sudden death, and the body was sent to the Forensic Department of Cyberjaya Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
