WASHINGTON, Feb 20 — Donald Trump announced Thursday that he will direct federal agencies to begin identifying and releasing government files related to UFOs and extraterrestrial life, a long-standing demand among some Americans.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he would instruct the Secretary of War and other relevant departments to start the process of locating and disclosing documents concerning alien life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

He did not clarify whether classified materials would be made public but said the release should cover “any and all other information” linked to the complex and significant subject. — AFP
