Finance Ministry reduces RON97, RON95 and diesel prices by 2 sen per litre for the week beginning Dec 11

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 — The government has reduced retail prices for RON97, RON95 and diesel by 2 sen per litre for the week of December 11 to 17, following movements in global oil prices and the Automatic Pricing Mechanism.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 — The government has reduced retail prices for RON97, RON95 and diesel by 2 sen per litre for the week of December 11 to 17, following movements in global oil prices and the Automatic Pricing Mechanism.

The Finance Ministry said RON97 will drop to RM3.27 per litre, unsubsidised RON95 to RM2.64 per litre and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia to RM3.06 per litre. Prices for subsidised RON95 under BUDI95 remain at RM1.99 per litre, while diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan stays at RM2.15 per litre.

The ministry said it will continue monitoring global crude oil trends and take necessary steps to safeguard public welfare. — Bernama
