KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 2 — Flood conditions in several states continue to improve, with declining numbers of evacuees reported as of 9pm yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 2 — Flood conditions in several states continue to improve, with declining numbers of evacuees reported as of 9pm yesterday.

In Terengganu, evacuees dropped to 287 people (102 families) from 511 earlier, with most sheltering at two PPS in Kuala Terengganu and one in Marang.

Selangor recorded 1,918 evacuees (543 families), down from 2,224, with PPS numbers reduced to 27 across four districts.

In Kelantan, evacuees fell to 203 people (82 families) from 353, all housed at PPS Pasir Mas.

Perak saw a slight decrease to 3,684 evacuees (1,090 families) across 21 PPS, with Hilir Perak remaining the worst-hit district.

In Pahang, evacuees dropped to 200 people (52 families), placed across PPS in Bera, Temerloh, Maran and Kuantan.

Meanwhile, Perlis saw an increase to 1,503 evacuees, while Kedah remains unchanged with 219 evacuees. — Bernama
