WASHINGTON, June 12 — The White House stated on Tuesday that President Donald Trump will not tolerate “mob rule,” as demonstrations against his immigration policies continue to spread across the U.S., despite a military-backed crackdown in Los Angeles.
MOSCOW, May 12 — For the first time in history, British intelligence agency MI6 is set to be led by a woman, with agency leadership currently selecting from three female candidates who reached the final round of interviews, according to The Times, as reported by Sputnik/Ria Novosti.
The interviews were held last week, and among the finalists, two are serving MI6 officers. The only publicly identified candidate is Barbara Woodward, former UK Ambassador to China and currently the highest-ranking woman in the Foreign Office.
However, her candidacy has faced criticism over perceived sympathies toward Beijing. — Bernama-Sputnik/Ria Novosti
