KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 17 — The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that a Malaysian citizen has been missing in Jeddah since Jan 15, with the Malaysian Consulate General coordinating closely with Saudi authorities to locate the individual.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 17 — The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that a Malaysian citizen has been missing in Jeddah since Jan 15, with the Malaysian Consulate General coordinating closely with Saudi authorities to locate the individual.

In a statement, the ministry said search efforts began immediately after the report was received, including checks at King Abdul Aziz International Airport and the filing of a police report with the help of a Malaysian travel agency. Consular assistance is also being provided to the family.

The missing individual was later identified as Malaysian actress Nadia Kesuma, who went untraceable while transiting at the airport en route from Kuala Lumpur to London. Authorities confirmed she had exited the airport and was classified as a missing person after more than 20 hours without contact. — Bernama
