KUANTAN, Oct 12 — Four police officers and personnel, including a woman, were detained after testing positive for drugs during a raid at an entertainment outlet here yesterday.

Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman confirmed that the arrests were made by the Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (JIPS).

“I can confirm the case, and further investigations are ongoing,” he told Bernama today.

Reports indicate that the four individuals — two officers and two rank-and-file personnel aged between 30 and 40 — were found in a karaoke room when the raid took place. It is understood that all have been released on police bail after their statements were recorded. — Bernama
