MANILA, Feb 19 — Sara Duterte is facing a fourth impeachment complaint, filed just hours after she announced her bid for the 2028 presidential election, according to documents seen by AFP.

The complaint alleges misuse of public funds and undeclared wealth. Duterte, daughter of former president Rodrigo Duterte, was previously impeached by the House last year, but the case was dismissed by the Supreme Court of the Philippines on procedural grounds.

Under the constitution, impeachment would trigger a Senate trial, and a conviction could bar her from holding public office.
