CHAPPAQUA, Feb 27 — Hillary Clinton used her deposition before a Republican-led House Oversight Committee probing Jeffrey Epstein to push back and call for President Donald Trump to testify about his links to the convicted sex offender.

Clinton denied any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, saying she never visited his island, homes, or offices. She accused the panel of trying to protect Trump and highlighted his frequent mentions in Epstein-related files.

The deposition, held behind closed doors in Chappaqua, New York, followed earlier threats of contempt after the Clintons initially resisted subpoenas. A brief pause occurred when a photo of Hillary leaked online, breaching the closed-session rules.

Committee chair James Comer said the probe aims to clarify Epstein’s network, while Democrats argued it is politically motivated. Bill Clinton, who previously flew on Epstein’s plane for humanitarian work, is set to testify next.
