NEW YORK, May 23 — The Trump administration yesterday revoked Harvard University’s authorization to enroll foreign students—who make up over a quarter of its student body—in a sharp escalation of the president’s conflict with the prestigious institution.
KUALA LUMPUR, April 25 — The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has pledged full cooperation with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in its investigation into two officers allegedly involved in false claims related to the Command & Control, Communication & Computer Integration (C4i) system.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed that the two officers, holding the ranks of Superintendent and Inspector, were remanded for seven days starting yesterday.
He added that Bukit Aman’s Integrity and Standards Compliance Department had conducted a financial audit of the C4i contract last year, uncovering improper payments to a company. The findings were subsequently reported to the MACC for further investigation.
“Any corruption-related offences uncovered by PDRM during investigations will be referred to the MACC, including in this case,” he said when contacted yesterday.
The MACC has remanded six individuals aged between their 30s and 50s, including the two police officers, a company director, and a chief financial officer, over RM15 million in false claims. — Bernama
