KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 — Key topics in the Dewan Rakyat today include calls for punitive measures against Israel and funding for religious schools in 2025.

According to the Parliament’s Order Paper, Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee (PN-Beluran) will question the Foreign Minister on concrete actions following Malaysia’s call at the recent Arab-Islamic Summit in Qatar for sanctions against Israel. He will also seek clarification on whether the measures cover indirect links through technology supply chains, third-party trade, or security and cyber cooperation.

Datuk Ahmad Saad @ Yahaya (PN-Pokok Sena) will ask the Prime Minister about total aid and allocations for religious schools this year, while Datuk Suhaimi Nasir (BN-Libaran) will question the Agriculture and Food Security Minister on new economic programmes for Sabah youth in digital economy, agropreneurship, and modern fisheries to reduce dependence on low-paying jobs.

Aminolhuda Hassan (PH-Sri Gading) will raise concerns over Malaysia’s food security amid potential import restrictions and strategies to ensure self-sufficiency. Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias (BN-Jelebu) will ask the Youth and Sports Minister about policies to develop e-sports as an economic contributor rather than just youth entertainment.

The first reading of the National Skills Development (Amendment) Bill 2025 and the Skills Development Fund (Amendment) Bill 2025 is also scheduled. The Dewan Rakyat will continue committee-level debates on the Supply Bill (Budget) 2026 for relevant ministries.

The third meeting of the fourth session of the 15th Parliament is set to run for 35 days until December 4. — Bernama
