KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 9 — Mixed doubles pair Jimmy Wong and Lai Pei Jing fell short of claiming their first title of the season, losing a closely contested final at the 2025 Korea Masters in Jeonbuk.

The third-seeded duo, appearing in their seventh final of the year, were edged out 22-24, 18-21 by home favourites and eighth seeds Kim Jae Hyeon and Jeoung Na Eun in a 54-minute Super 300 clash at Wonkwang University Cultural and Sports Centre.

Since teaming up in March, Jimmy and Pei Jing have finished as runners-up seven times in 2025, including at the Vietnam International Challenge, Phuket International Series, St Denis Reunion Open, Macau Open, and both Indonesia Masters I and II. — Bernama
