KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has remanded a married couple and a company director for allegedly submitting false claims involving the misappropriation of approximately RM8.4 million in company funds.‍

KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has remanded a married couple and a company director for allegedly submitting false claims involving the misappropriation of approximately RM8.4 million in company funds.

According to sources, the Johor Bahru Magistrate’s Court approved a four-day remand order this morning, which will last until Saturday, March 22.

The three suspects—two men and a woman, aged between 30 and their 60s—were arrested between 3pm and 11pm yesterday while providing their statements at the Johor MACC office.

“All suspects are believed to have committed the offence between April and October 2018.

"Preliminary investigations indicate that the three, who served as a director and consultant of the company, allegedly conspired to submit falsified documents to withdraw approximately RM8.4 million
