Johor–Singapore SEZ master plan completed, launch scheduled for March 30

PUTRAJAYA, March 12 — The Ministry of Economy Malaysia is in the final stages of preparing the master plan and investment blueprint for the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), which is expected to be officially launched on March 30 in Johor Bahru.

PUTRAJAYA, March 12 — The Ministry of Economy Malaysia is in the final stages of preparing the master plan and investment blueprint for the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), which is expected to be officially launched on March 30 in Johor Bahru.

Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said the blueprint will serve as a public reference, while the more detailed master plan will guide agencies and stakeholders involved in implementing and developing the special economic zone.

“At the Ministry of Economy, we are currently finalising both the blueprint and the master plan. The blueprint will be made available for public reference, while the master plan will be used by all implementing parties,” he told reporters after launching MyRMK — an integrated monitoring system aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13) — here today. — Bernama
