KOTA BHARU, Dec 26 — Several Kelantan districts have been warned of possible flooding from today until Dec 30 following a danger-level continuous rain alert by MetMalaysia.

KOTA BHARU, Dec 26 — Several Kelantan districts have been warned of possible flooding from today until Dec 30 following a danger-level continuous rain alert by MetMalaysia.

PRABN under the DID said areas at risk include Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Bachok, Machang, Kota Bharu, Pasir Puteh, Tanah Merah, Kuala Krai and Gua Musang, involving the Sungai Kelantan, Sungai Golok and Sungai Semerak basins.

“Floods may occur earlier or later depending on rainfall,” it said, urging agencies and residents to stay alert and follow authorities’ instructions.

DID said monitoring will continue, with warnings updated if heavy rain persists. Latest updates are available on the Public Infobanjir website and social media.

Earlier, MetMalaysia also issued a danger-level rain warning for Terengganu and Kelantan until Dec 29, and a severe-level alert for Jeli, Tanah Merah and Kuala Krai. — Bernama
