KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 — Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is introducing four additional Electric Train Service (ETS) trains for the KL Sentral-Butterworth and KL Sentral-Padang Besar routes, including return trips, to accommodate increased travel demand during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 — Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is introducing four additional Electric Train Service (ETS) trains for the KL Sentral-Butterworth and KL Sentral-Padang Besar routes, including return trips, to accommodate increased travel demand during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

In a statement today, KTMB announced that these extra ETS trains will run on March 28 and 30, two days before Hari Raya Aidilfitri, as well as on April 5 and 6, two days after the festivities.

"The service will provide 1,254 seats daily, including business class options, bringing the total seat availability to 5,016 during this period," the statement said.

Tickets for the additional trains will be available for purchase starting today at 10 am.

On March 3, KTMB had earlier announced plans to operate four additional ETS trains from March 28 to April 6, bringing the total number of daily trains to 40 and offering 117,996 seats.

Passengers can purchase tickets through the KTM Mobile (KITS) app, the official KTMB website (www.ktmb.com.my), or at KTMB kiosks. — Bernama
