WASHINGTON, June 12 — The White House stated on Tuesday that President Donald Trump will not tolerate “mob rule,” as demonstrations against his immigration policies continue to spread across the U.S., despite a military-backed crackdown in Los Angeles.
PUTRAJAYA, March 19 — Malaysia Airlines confirmed that Flight MH720 from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur initiated an emergency response after detecting a cargo fire indication.
The aircraft, carrying 115 passengers and seven crew members, landed safely at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 6:18 pm. As a precaution, fire extinguishing agents were activated in the forward cargo area.
In a statement, Malaysia Airlines said the aircraft was directed to a remote bay upon landing, where all passengers and crew disembarked safely.
“Fire services and technical teams were on standby to thoroughly assess the situation before opening the cargo doors. The safety of our passengers and crew remains our top priority,” the airline stated.
Earlier, flight tracking website FlightRadar24 reported on Facebook that MH720 had squawked 7700 south of Kuala Lumpur, signaling a general emergency. — Bernama
