TUMPAT, Nov 2 — The General Operations Force (GOF) Southeast Brigade has tightened security along the Malaysia-Thailand border following the fatal shooting of a Malaysian man in Sungai Golok, Narathiwat.

Acting commander ACP Ijid Landu Binju said all officers have been instructed to stay on high alert, with stricter roadblocks and patrols enforced to maintain border security.

He added that the GOF remains vigilant at all times, not only in response to isolated incidents. — Bernama
