WASHINGTON, June 12 — The White House stated on Tuesday that President Donald Trump will not tolerate “mob rule,” as demonstrations against his immigration policies continue to spread across the U.S., despite a military-backed crackdown in Los Angeles.
KUALA LUMPUR, March 27 — Malaysian men’s doubles shuttler Ong Yew Sin has announced his engagement to former Japanese national player Aya Ohori.
Ong, who competes alongside Teo Ee Yi in men’s doubles, shared the happy news on social media today, revealing that he had proposed to Ohori.
“We couldn’t be happier to share this with the world,” the 30-year-old wrote.
Acknowledging their different backgrounds, Ong expressed confidence in overcoming challenges together.
“Different nationality, different culture, and different lifestyles. We will learn to adapt, accept each other’s way of living, and understand each other’s culture over the years,” he shared on Instagram.
He also addressed speculation, clarifying that Ohori is not pregnant.
Ohori, once among Japan’s top women’s singles players, achieved a career-high world ranking of No. 7 on December 17 last year.
The 28-year-old retired from professional badminton after competing in her final tournament at the BWF World Tour Finals in December.
