KUALA LUMPUR, May 30 — The global community, particularly within the legal sphere, has acknowledged the Madani Government’s ongoing efforts and initiatives in legal and institutional reforms under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, said this recognition was evident when she was invited to share insights on Malaysia’s reform journey at the Tashkent Law Spring International Legal Forum 2025 in Uzbekistan.

In a Facebook post, Azalina said she presented views on digitalisation and the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) during a plenary session themed “The Age of Digital Technologies: A Legal Perspective of the Future.”

She noted that the session featured prominent international figures, including ministers of justice and digital affairs from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Russia, alongside experts from globally recognised institutions.

Azalina is currently in Tashkent on an official visit at the invitation of Uzbekistan’s Justice Minister, Akbar Tashkulov. — Bernama
