KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 — National squash star S. Sivasangari stormed into the semi-finals of the 2025 London Squash Classic after defeating England’s Jasmine Hutton on Friday.

The 2022 Asian Games gold medallist wrapped up the quarter-final in just 20 minutes, claiming an 11-9, 11-5 victory at the PSA World Tour Gold event held at Alexandra Palace, London. The defending champion will next face Egypt’s world No. 5 Amina Orfi for a place in the final.

In the men’s draw, Malaysia’s Ng Eain Yow also secured a semi-final spot after edging past England’s Marwan ElShorbagy 11-9, 11-9. Ranked world No. 12, Eain Yow is set to meet New Zealand’s world No. 3 Paul Coll in the last four. — Bernama
