BANGKOK, April 24 — Thailand’s Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear a petition accusing 44 current and former opposition lawmakers of ethics violations over their 2021 move to amend a law protecting the monarchy from criticism, according to Thai media reports.
MELAKA, Dec 15 — Melaka police issued 87 traffic summonses for various offences during the RXZ Members Ride Edition 3.0 2025, held across the state from December 12 to 14.
State police chief Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said the summonses were issued by the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) of the Melaka contingent police headquarters.
The main offences detected included expired road tax (14 cases), riding without a valid driving licence (13), failure to display P or L stickers (11), and one case of an expired driving licence. Other violations involved unauthorised accessories (10 cases), lack of insurance (nine), absence of side mirrors (six) and missing registration numbers (five).
He added that police also recorded helmet-related offences (five cases), modified exhausts (four), registration number violations (three), faulty brake lights (three), failure to obey instructions (two) and failure to stop during the operation (one).
Dzulkhairi said no vehicles were seized, no arrests were made, and no fatal or serious accidents involving programme participants were reported during the operation. — Bernama
