KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 27 — MetMalaysia has issued a severe continuous heavy rain warning for parts of Pahang and Johor until Monday, covering Kuantan, Pekan, Rompin and Mersing.

Severe heavy rain alerts are also in effect for Kelantan, Terengganu, and additional districts in Pahang (Jerantut, Maran, Bera) and Johor (Segamat, Kluang, Kota Tinggi).

Separately, thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected across seven states and Labuan until 6pm today, including areas in Perak, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Sarawak and Sabah.

Affected locations include Batang Padang, Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Kuala Pilah, Jempol, Tampin, Tangkak, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Limbang, and multiple districts in Sabah, as well as Labuan. — Bernama
