PUTRAJAYA, Oct 15 — The Ministry of Education (MOE) has reaffirmed its commitment to fulfilling the decree of Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safe environment in all educational institutions.

In a statement today, the ministry said Her Majesty’s message serves as a vital reminder for its personnel to take firm action against issues of sexual misconduct, which pose serious consequences for both society and the nation.

“The MOE remains dedicated to implementing comprehensive awareness programmes across educational institutions, reviewing the effectiveness of the ‘Tindak Demi Anak Kita’ (TinDak) module, and working with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to study the impact of social media on students, as decreed by Her Majesty,” the ministry said.

Yesterday, Her Majesty urged the MOE to reassess the TinDak campaign module’s effectiveness in promoting safer school environments and encouraging greater parental involvement.
