KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 — World No. 2 pair M. Thinaah and Pearly Tan are set to make their SEA Games debut for Malaysia in Thailand later this month, aiming to shine on the international stage.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 — World No. 2 pair M. Thinaah and Pearly Tan are set to make their SEA Games debut for Malaysia in Thailand later this month, aiming to shine on the international stage.

Thinaah said they are determined to perform at their best and bring pride to the nation. “We’re really excited to finally compete at the SEA Games. Every point matters, every match counts — and we’re ready to give our all,” she said in a statement from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) today.

Malaysia will also field the world No. 22 pair Teoh Mei Xing and Go Pei Kee in the women’s doubles and team events. The last time Malaysia won the women’s doubles at the SEA Games was in 2015 with Amelia Alicia Anscelly and Soong Fie Cho, while the women’s team title was last claimed in 2009. — Bernama
