PM Anwar Begins Two-Day Sabah Trip with Reformasi Anniversary Events

KOTA KINABALU, Sept 26 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who also serves as PKR president, begins a two-day visit to Sabah today.

KOTA KINABALU, Sept 26 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who also serves as PKR president, begins a two-day visit to Sabah today.

He is scheduled to arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport this afternoon before attending three Keadilan events marking the 27th anniversary of Reformasi, taking place in Inanam, Tawau and Sandakan.

The first programme will be held at 3pm at Dewan Pisompuruan, Kampung Kobuni, Inanam, followed by a 6.30pm gathering at the Merotai Besar Village Community Centre, Tawau. The day will conclude with a third event at 9.30pm at Dewan Yu Yuan, Sandakan.

Tomorrow, Anwar will start his itinerary with the Majlis Sarapan Mesra Wira Samudera at 8am at the Malaysian Armed Forces Quarters Complex, Taman Samudera, Sandakan. At 9.30am, he is scheduled to attend the Jelajah Wira Madani and the 20th anniversary celebration of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) at the Sandakan MMEA Zone Complex.

The prime minister is expected to depart for Batu Berendam International Airport in Melaka at the end of his Sabah visit. — Bernama
