KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 — Malaysia and France have agreed to enhance collaboration in defense, economy, energy, trade, investment, tourism, and artificial intelligence, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 — Malaysia and France have agreed to enhance collaboration in defense, economy, energy, trade, investment, tourism, and artificial intelligence, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced.

During a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, they discussed follow-ups from their G20 Summit meeting in Rio de Janeiro last November. Anwar also expressed gratitude for France’s support in rebuilding Gaza and emphasized the need for diplomatic efforts to restore peace in Myanmar.

Additionally, Anwar welcomed Macron and his delegation to visit Malaysia in May to further strengthen bilateral ties. — Bernama
