SHAH ALAM, Feb 19 — Police have confirmed that stimulant drug intoxication caused three of the four deaths at a New Year’s Eve concert in Bandar Sunway.

SHAH ALAM, Feb 19 — Police have confirmed that stimulant drug intoxication caused three of the four deaths at a New Year’s Eve concert in Bandar Sunway.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan stated that pathology reports confirmed the cause for three victims, while results for the fourth are still pending.

“So far, we have recorded statements from 53 witnesses, and the investigation is ongoing. Once completed, it will be referred to the coroner,” he said today.

Another victim remains hospitalized in stable condition but under close observation.

Earlier, police had suspected that the victims consumed ecstasy at the Dec 31 concert. — Bernama
