KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23 — Two foreign nationals have become the first individuals in Malaysia to be charged in court for littering under the newly enforced anti-littering law, according to a report by The Star.
SEREMBAN, March 3 — Police are looking for a female artist and her husband to assist in investigations into an alleged fraud involving the sale of non-existent Selangor state land lots, which reportedly caused losses of RM1.5 million in January.
Seremban district police chief ACP Azahar Abdul Rahim said a report was lodged by a 56-year-old man on January 7.
“They are the main suspects in a case under investigation in Seremban involving the sale of non-existent Selangor state land, resulting in losses of RM1.5 million. Information indicates that both individuals are currently believed to be in Sarawak.
“They have been officially listed as ‘wanted’ persons,” he said today, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating.
Earlier, allegations circulated on the social media platform Threads, where an individual claimed to have been deceived by the artist’s husband before lodging a police report.
In a separate case, police are also seeking public assistance to trace two brothers who have been missing since February 24.
Azahar said the siblings were last seen at about 4.30pm that day, driving an Isuzu D-Max heading towards Port Dickson.
The missing men have been identified as Rasfaiza Rashid, 43, and his younger brother Rasfaridzouan, 39. They have not returned home since leaving about a week ago.
Rasfaiza is described as fair-skinned, of medium build, 168cm tall and weighing 72kg, while Rasfaridzouan is stocky, 168cm tall and weighs 78kg.
