Rapid Rail: Cable theft near Damansara Damai may disrupt MRT Putrajaya Line services for up to three days

KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 — Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail) is undertaking repair works on the power supply system of the MRT Putrajaya Line after a cable theft near Damansara Damai Station was detected early today.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 — Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail) is undertaking repair works on the power supply system of the MRT Putrajaya Line after a cable theft near Damansara Damai Station was detected early today.

The company said the incident led to service disruptions, with full recovery expected to take place in stages over the next three days.

“The disruption requires extensive repair works to ensure the system can resume safe and stable operations,” the rail operator said in a statement.

Rapid Rail added that alternative train arrangements and complimentary shuttle bus services have been activated to assist passengers. Commuters are also encouraged to consider other rail routes where possible.
