RIYADH, Dec 30 — Saudi Arabia on Tuesday urged the United Arab Emirates to pull its forces out of Yemen within 24 hours and halt all military or financial support to groups in the country, echoing a similar demand made by Yemen’s internationally recognised government in Aden.

“The Kingdom underscores the importance of the sisterly United Arab Emirates complying with the Republic of Yemen’s request for the withdrawal of its military forces within 24 hours and stopping any support to any party inside Yemen,” the foreign ministry said in an online statement. — AFP
