BINTULU, Feb 6 — After nearly recovering from its worst flood in 30 years, Bintulu was hit again by heavy rain late this evening, causing renewed flooding in several areas, including Kidurong Avenue, Taman Bilangan, Sungai Plan, and Jambatan Sebatang. Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department deputy director Tiong Ling Hii confirmed the second wave of flooding and shared live photos and videos with the media.

Separately, a man went missing after his boat capsized in Sungai Anap, Tatau, earlier today. His wife survived, while the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department’s Operations Centre received a distress call around 6.20pm.
