PARIS, Oct 28 — Swiss Moto3 rider Noah Dettwiler, who was seriously injured in a crash during the Malaysian MotoGP weekend, is in a stable but critical condition, his team and family said on Monday.
“Noah has undergone several surgeries in the past few hours, all of which went well,” a statement posted on X said.
“According to the attending doctors, his condition is stable but remains critical.”
The Moto3 race at Sepang on Sunday was delayed and shortened following a collision during the sighting lap involving newly crowned world champion Jose Antonio Rueda and the 20-year-old Dettwiler.
Both riders were conscious after the incident and were airlifted to hospital. Rueda, 19, from Spain, is believed to have sustained a hand fracture.
