MOSCOW, Dec 24 — A bomb in Moscow killed three people, including two police officers, after they approached a suspicious man near the site where a senior Russian general was assassinated two days ago, an attack Russia blames on Ukrainian intelligence.

Russia’s State Investigative Committee said the blast also killed a third person and opened cases under laws on the murder of law enforcement officers and illegal bomb trafficking. Unofficial reports suggest the suspect detonated the device when confronted by police.
